Waltham Nursing Home in Trouble

The nursing home violated wage laws.

A Waltham nursing home violated the state’s wage laws by not paying vacation wages to some of its workers after they were terminated, according to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.

Meadow Green Nursing Home in Waltham, along with three other nursing homes in Massachusetts totaling 209 workers, failed to issue such pay, according to the AG’s office.

Under the terms of an agreement with the AG’s office, Meadow Green has agreed to pay the workers and a penalty to the state, according to the AG’s office.  The nursing homes cooperated with the investigation and have agreed to pay $132,000 in restitution.
