Waltham Man Pleads Not Guilty To Killing Maine Woman

Juan Contreras is charged with killing an elderly Maine woman.

A pleaded not guilty last week to killing a Maine woman in her Farmington apartment last summer.

During Friday, Jan. 20 court hearing, Juan Contreras entered a plea of not guilty for murdering Grace Burton, 81, of Farmington, Maine, according to the Morning Sentinel.

A judge ordered Contreras remain held without bail, according to the Sun Journal.

Contreras is scheduled to appear in court on June 5, for a status hearing, according to the Morning Sentinel.

If convicted, Contreras faces a minimum 25-year jail sentence, according to the Sentinel.
