Waltham Man Arrested Twice in 24 Hours

Man faces charges for two separate incidents.

A Waltham man was recently arrested twice in 24 hours and is now facing his fourth charge of driving under the influence of drugs.

According to Waltham Police, Charles Goulding, 58, of 326 School St. was first arrested on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 9:28 p.m. and charged with assault and battery. At 5:44 p.m. the next day, he was driving near 130 River St. and allegedly struck a parked car, according to Waltham Police Sgt. Joseph Guigno. Goulding fled the scene of the crash but officers later found him at his home, Guigno said. 

For the car crash, Goulding faces charges for leaving the scene of property damage, driving under the influence of drugs (fourth offense) and driving with a suspended registration.
