Waltham Man Arrested Before Own Court Hearing

The suspect was arrested twice in two days.

A 22-year-old Waltham man was arrested twice in 24 hours in related incidents, according to Waltham Police.

Kevin Colindres, 22, of 25 Hansen Rd., is facing charges of threatening to commit a crime, witness intimidation, violating a restraining order, assault and battery, larceny from a person and breaking and entering (nighttime felony) stemming from two incidents.

On Sept. 29, Colindres allegedly broke into his former girlfriend's home on Robbins Street and stole her cell phone and assaulted her, according to Waltham Police. He was arrested on those charges and was scheduled for a Sept. 30 arraignment hearing at Waltham District Court.

Immediately before the court hearing on Sept. 30, Colindres made hostile statements to his former girlfriend when she was entering the building, according to police. Police arrested Colindres for the threats, which violated the existing restraining order.
