Man Did Not Jump From Waltham Bridge, He Fell

Details are still sketchy.

UPDATED, 2:50 p.m.: Waltham Police just told Waltham Patch that the man who reportedly jumped from the MBTA bridge in fact did not jump. He was walking down the embankment that abuts the bridge when he suddely fell into the parking lot below.

Waltham Police Sgt. Joseph Guigno said the man told police he was drunk when he fell from the bridge. He was found concious and alert and taken to a hospital, according to Guigno.

UPDATED, 1:11 p.m.: The man has been taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, according to scanner reports. He landed in the parking lot of , according to Twitter user @matredsoxfan2.

Waltham firefighters are responding to reports of a man jumping from the Route 20 MBTA bridge. He reportedly landed in the parking lot of a Stop & Shop.

According to various Twitter reports, advanced life support services are responding to the scene.No other details are availabel at the moment.
