Waltham Firefighters Douse Attic Fire

Brief fire at a Waltham home.

Waltham firefighters defeated a brief attic fire this afternoon at 178 Forest Street, according to multiple Twitter reports.

The fire was first reported at around 4:30 p.m. as smoke and flames in the attic of the home, according to the Waltham Fire Dispatcher center Twitter feed. Within minutes, firefighters had doused the flames, according to scanner reports.
