Waltham Declares Snow Emergency/Parking Ban

The parking ban begins on Saturday.

As a winter storm bears down, the city of Waltham has declared a snow emergency to begin on Dec. 14 at 6 p.m., according to Consolidated Public Works Director Michael Chiasson.

The emergency means that starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, motorists are prohibited from parking on the city's streets until further notice. Drivers can park in any one of the city's public lots for free.

Cars left on the street or lots are subject to being towed. If you're car is towed, call police at 781-314-3600.
