Update on Waltham High School Fires Investigation

Three fires have occurred at Waltham High School recently.

New details have emerged in the investigation into the three fires that occurred within 30 days at Waltham High School, according to the Boston Globe.

The fires which happened on Nov. 6, Nov. 15 and Dec. 6, all occurred in trash barrels in bathrooms at the high school. Nobody was injured in any of the fires and they were all quickly doused.

Police are investigating the fires by examining who signed out to go to the bathroom around the times of the fires, and who may not have been in the classroom at the time of the fires, according to the Globe.

Students are supposed to sign out a pass to go to the bathroom and the doors are supposed to remain locked, according to the Globe. Sometimes, however, the doors are not fully secure, according to the Globe.

More details available at the Boston Globe.
