The trial of an illegal immigrant charged in the motor vehicle homicide death of a Waltham man is scheduled to begin Feb. at Waltham District Court, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office.

Blanca Contreras, a Guatemalan native who was living in Waltham illegally, is facing motor vehicle homicide charges in the death of 30-year old Scott Coxall, of Waltham.

The trial had been set for Jan. 29, but was pushed to Feb. 13.

Coxall was struck and killed by a car on Nov. 23, 2011. Prosecutors believed Contreras was driving the car, but Contreras and her boyfriend, William Vasquez both later said Vasquez was driving the car.

The start of the trial comes after several delays.
