The trial of accused killer Jared Remy is scheduled to begin Oct. 7, 2014, according to WCVB-TV.
Remy, the son of Red Sox broadcaster and Wayland resident Jerry Remy, is accused of murdering his girlfriend, Jennifer Martel, at their Waltham home in August. Remy has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail.
