State Trooper Hit By Car In Waltham

The trooper was struck on Route 128 south in Waltham.

A Massachusetts State Police Trooper suffered minor injuries on Nov. 20 when his cruiser was struck by another car on Routh 128 south in Waltham, according to FOX 25.

The trooper, a K-9 officer, had his dog in the car, but the dog was not injured, according to FOX 25. The trooper had been working a construction detail, according to WHDH-TV. 

The crash occurred around 4 a.m., according to WBZ-TV.

An elderly man was driving the car that struck the trooper. That man was taken to the hospital. The accident is under investigation.
