Snow Emergency/Parking Ban Declared for Waltham

A snow emergency parking ban has been declared for Waltham.

The parking ban will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan 2., according to the city's reverse 911 system.

That means all cars are prohibited from parking on public roads and must be removed by 6 p.m. Violators are subject to being towed.

Motorists may move their cars to a city-owned parking lot or a public school lot. Cars must be removed from school lots immediately after the ban is lifted.

If you car is towed, call Waltham Police at 781-314-3600 to locate it.

What's the point of being able to comment if they just get deleted anyway? I'm glad the parking ban was "declared" and not "cleared", that had me confused. Also, I hope me car isn't towed.
