Former Waltham Police Officer Paul Manganelli is facing child porn charges.

New city records show how much former Waltham Police Officer Paul Manganelli was paid during his administrative leave as he faced child pornography charges.

Since his arrest in March to his final paycheck on Oct. 16, the city paid Manganelli $53,749.86. That includes $37,563.01 in his regular salary, $625.22 in overtime earnings, $794.39 in vacation time, $8,208.74 in vacation hours, and, in two separate longevity bonuses, 6,558.50. 

Manganelli, who was arrested at his Waltham home in March, has applied for retirement benefits from the city.
