Scanner: Armed Home Invasion Reported in Newton Near Waltham Line

Reports indicate one suspect may be in custody.

Newton Police responded to a home on Falmouth Road in Newton this afternoon after a home invasion had been reported. 

According to scanner reports, the invasion involved two suspects who reportedly had a knife.

Scanner reports said one suspect was described as a tall, skinny black male in his 20s with a black shirt and baggy pants. The other suspect was described as a heavy white male with black pants. Both suspects were reportedly wearing masks. 

Police may have stopped one of the suspects just a short ways down the road on Fuller Street in Waltham, according to scanner reports.

A K-9 unit has been called to the scene.
