Prosecutor’s Report on Fatal Shooting of Ibragim Todashev To Be Released Tuesday
The report is the only independent investigation into the May 22, 2013, shooting.
A Florida prosecutor said Thursday that he will release his final report Tuesday on the FBI’s fatal shooting of Ibragim Todashev, the Chechen man linked to the Boston Marathon bombing suspects, according to Boston.com.
According to the FBI, prior to being shot and killed on May 22, 2013, Todashev implicated himself and Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, also now deceased, in the 2011 triple homicide in Waltham.
Authorities have said that Todashev, before being shot, attacked the law enforcement officers questioning him in his Orlando apartment.
