Police ID Waltham Stabbing Suspect

Waltham Police are searching for at least one suspect in connection with a recent stabbing on Hammond Street.

Police have released more details on the suspect in last week's stabbing on Hammond Street.

Police have identified one suspect as Edward Fenochietti, 21, of Waltham and are currently searching for him, according to Waltham Police Detective Jorge Orta. Two other suspects involved in the incident have not yet been identified, Orta said.

Fenochietti is described at 5' 10'', 180 pounds with a tattoo reading "EMF" on his left forearm. He has dark brown hair and eyes. Orta said police believe he is still in or around Waltham.

Fenochietti is wanted for armed home invasion and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charges stemming from the Dec. 4 stabbing that that left one man injured, Orta said. Police believe the crime was not random.
