Newton North High School graduate Erin Willinger was reportedly killed by her estranged husband in India.

Willinger, 30, was stabbed to death last week by the side of a road in Agra, India. Her husband, Bunty Sharma, was suspected in the murder, but he killed himself the same day by “exploding a can of cooking oil,” reported ABC News.

Willinger’s father, Andrew, said the couple were married in October 2013, but had not been living together for months. She left Sharma after he told her he killed a friend during an argument and spent years in prison, reported ABC News.
