Homeless Man Charged in Connection with People’s United Bank Robbery

The robbery occurred Thursday.

A 26-year-old homeless man was arrested Friday and charged in connection with the robbery at People’s United Bank on Main Street in Waltham Thursday, according to a MyFoxBoston report.

Jason Simons was charged with unarmed robbery. He also had a warrant for a probation violation and for possession of a Class A drug, according to the report. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.

During the robbery, Simons passed a teller a note. He did not show a weapon.
