Hearing Wednesday for Police Chief Retirement Package

The meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. at Waltham City Hall.

The Waltham Retirement Board will meet on Wednesday to discuss and possibly vote on former Waltham Police Chief Thomas LaCroix's application for a retirement benefits package.

LaCroix, 50, recently resigned after he was sentenced to probation for attacking his wife at their Maynard home in June 2012.

Details of LaCroix's benefits, however, could remain a mystery. Board Director Joseph Juppe has said he will not reveal how much LaCroix could receive.

The meeting starts at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall.
