FBI to Release Todashev Killing Report 'Soon'

Ibragim Todashev was killed as he was being questioned about the 2011 Waltham murders.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation said it will "soon" release its internal investigation report of the killing of Ibragim Todashev, according to the Boston Globe.

An FBI agent shot and killed Todashev in 2013 after Todashev allegedly attacked the agent. The agent, and two Massachusetts State Police troopers, had been questioning Todashev about his possible links to the 2011 Waltham triple murder.

Accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, an associate of Todashev, has been linked to the Waltham murders. Tsarnaev was killed during a shootout in Watertown days after the April 15 bombing.

The FBI's internal review of the shooting is done, according to the Boston Globe. The Justice Department plans to review the report before its released. The report could be released by the end of January, according to the Globe.
