FBI Blocks Release of Autopsy of Triple Murder Suspect

The cause of death of Ibrahgim Todashev, a suspect in the triple murder in Watham, has been determined by a Florida medical examiner but the FBI has prevented him from releasing it, according to a report in the Boston Globe.

The FBI said Todashev was killed on May 22 in his Orlando apartment when he was being interviewed in connection to the murders. The FBI contacted the medical examiner’s office for Orange and Osceola counties and said they incident is still under investigation, so the report should not be made public, according to the Globe.

The FBI has not released details of the incident in Orlando. The Council on American-Islamic Relations and the ACLU have called for and independent inquiries into Todashev’s death.
