A 77-year-old Waltham man was killed in a Friday afternoon crash on Interstate 95, according to State Police.
At around 2:52 p.m., State Police responded to a report of single car crash on I-95 northbound both of the Route 20 interchange. When troopers arrived, they found a car had collided with a center median.
The driver was taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have not identified the man yet as they are still trying to notify hsi next of kin.
A preliminary investigation discovered the driver had a medical condition prior to losing control of the car, State Police said.
Police are investigating the crash.
