Dozens Treated for Carbon Monoxide Exposure in Waltham

Children were among the victims in the incident.

Dozens of people were evacuated from the St. Mary's Religious Education Center on Pond Street in Waltham due to being exposed to high levels of carbon monoxide.

About 50 people, including 17 children, were taken to hospital by ambulance for carbon monoxide poisoning, according to a report on NECN. Some parents chose to take their children hospital on their own.

All the victims are expected to be OK, a Waltham Fire official told NECN.
