VIDEO: Waltham Man Attacks MBTA Officer

See what this Waltham man tried to do to an MBTA cop.

Michael Cammisaro, 57 of Waltham, will be arraigned on Nov. 1 at Boston Municipal Court on charges that he assaulted an MBTA officer after the officer stopped him for "piggybacking" past the fare gate after it opened for the officer, according to MBTA police.

A plainclothes MBTA officer was working at the station when he saw the man pass through the gate behind him. When the officer stopped him, Cammisaro said, "move, move, move," and assaulted the officer, according to the MBTA police. The officer brought Cammisaro under control and arrested him.

The officer, Louis Feliciano, told 7News, “I realize there was a male coming up behind me pretty close. As I turned around to inquire what he was doing, the man immediately began to push me while yelling, ‘move, move, move,’ I kind of got him under control pretty quick. I was not injured. I was hit in the face."

Cammisaro was not charged with fare evasion because he never made it through the gate, according to 7News.
