Cause of Death Issued for Waltham Rollover Victim

Lisa A. LeBlanc died on March 24 in a rollover crash on Main Street.

 

The cause of death of a Waltham woman who died in a rollover crash in March has been ruled an accident, according to her death certificate. 

Lisa A. LeBlanc, 41, of Waltham,

Her boyfriend, Bernardo Betancourt, who had been following her in another car, was arrested at the scene after the crash for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police had been investigating Betancourt's possible involvement in LeBlanc's crash.

The death certificate indicates LeBlanc sustained blunt force injuries of the head and neck. Police previously said they believe LeBlanc was not wearing her seatbelt and that speed was a factor in the crash.
