A Brandeis University student was found dead on Sept. 3 after apparently committing suicide, according to the school's student newspaper, The Justice.
Brandeis Police found Akshay R. Venkatesh, of the class of 2014, dead in a dorm room after performing a wellness check on him, according to the paper.
University President Fred Lawrence informed students in an email yesterday, according to the paper. A community meeting was held at 9 p.m. on Sept. 3 where university officials and students remembered Venkatesh, according o the paper.
