Another Fire at Waltham High School

Nobody was injured during the incident.

A small trash barrel fire was doused at Waltham High School on Friday, the third in two months, according to Waltham Fire Lt. Scott Perry.

Firefighters received a call about the incident at 9:30 a.m. and quickly dispatched as if the building were actually ablaze, Peery said. By the time firefighters arrived, somebody had extinguished the flames in a bathroom near the auditorium, Perry said.

Perry said the incident was similar to two prior fires at the high school. Firefighters and police are investigating the incident.
