Alleged Waltham Carjacker Held After Dangerousness Hearing

Scott Steverding is accused of carjacking a woman outside a Waltham CVS on Aug. 13.

A 30-year-old Waltham man accused of carjacking a teenager was ordered held without bail after a dangerousness hearing at Waltham District Court on Aug. 20, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's office.

Scott Steverding, 30, of Waltham,. Police say Steverding threatened to stab the victim with a syring filled with what he said was HIV-tainted blood. 

Steverding is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on Sept. 20 at Waltham District Court, according to the DA's office.
