Alleged Waltham/Arlington Bank Robbers Arraigned

The pair will return to court on Jan. 29

Two individuals arrested in connection with a pair of recent bank robberies in Waltham and Arlington were arraigned on Jan. 11, according to Arlington Police.

Andrea Koutis, 30, of Arlington was arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court on one count of armed robbery. Erik Stout, 35, of Somerville, was arraigned on one count of armed and masked robbery.

Koutis was ordered held on $100,000 bail while Stout was held on $250,000 bail, according to Arlington Police. The pair is due back in court on Jan. 13 for a probable cause hearing.

Both suspects are being held at Suffolk County Sheriff's jail on Nashua Street in Boston.

The pair allegedly robbed the Sovereign Bank on Trapelo Road in Waltham and the East Cambridge Savings Bank in Arlington on Jan. 8.
