FIVE FOR THE FIFTH: PETER KOUTOUJIAN WRAPS UP FIVE “GRASSROOTS GATHERINGS” IN FIVE COMMUNITIES OVER FIVE DAYS THROUGHOUT THE FIFTH DISTRICT

Koutoujian Continues Commitment to Grassroots Campaign, Meets With Residents and Supporters in Five Communities Across the Fifth District in Five Days

WALTHAM – Peter Koutoujian yesterday wrapped up his Five-For-The-Fifth Tour, speaking with supporters and activists at five “Grassroots Gatherings” in five communities across the Fifth District in five days.

“A true grassroots campaign is more than just a race for elective office,” said Koutoujian.  “It’s about speaking with residents in every city I want to represent, about listening to families talk about the issues that matter most to them.  Over the last five days I’ve toured towns, heard stories, and shared my vision for the Fifth District.  We had a conversation, and it’s one that I plan to continue up through—and long past—Election Day.”

With “Grassroots Gatherings” in Cambridge, Framingham, Lexington, Waltham, and Weston, Koutoujian crisscrossed the district to speak with supporters and activists.  On Saturday he also opened an office in Arlington, played in the Bocce on the Beach tournament in Revere, and joined wife Elizabeth Cerda to catch Waltham’s Concert in the Common.  On Sunday he spoke at the Melrose and Framingham Democratic Committees’ annual cookouts.
