Community Update

I hope that the new school committee has the strength to do what's best for the Waltham Public Schools.  Simply put....get rid of the superintendent.  She is toxic.  Morale is at an all-time low.  She is dictatorial in her approach as well as being mean-spirited in her dealings with people.  I think it is pathetic that she is able to go on an extended trip to China with the approval of the school committee when school employees are systematically denied the opportunity to go to professional development.  What is she going to learn in China that is going to be of use to the Waltham Public Schools.  China is hardly the standard-bearer when it comes to innovation and best practices in education.  It's a farce!  Do the children of Waltham a favor and refuse to renew her contract.
