Stephen D. Hawkins Sr. of Waltham died on Aug. 9 at the age of 62.
He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and used to live in Islamorada, Fla., and Bangor, Maine, according to an obituary on the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home website.
He was the son of Margaret H. Hawkins and the late Selby Hawkins Jr of Waltham; father of Stephen D. Hawkins Jr and his wife Kimberly of Oakdale, Conn., Stacy Tortorella and her husband Daniel of Winslow, Maine, and Scott Hawkins of Leominster; grandfather Steve of Kelsea, Morgann and Madyson Tortorella and Ethan and Amelia Hawkins; brother of Roberta Hawkins of Waltham; former husband of Pamela M. Hawkins of Maynard; and fiance of the late Holly Kimball of Islamorada, Fla.

A funeral service will be held in the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road in Belmont, on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Aug. 12 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Mt Auburn Hospital c/o Oncology Dept. 330 Mt Auburn Street Cambridge MA 02138.
