I brought in my Singer for repairs June of 2013. I explained to the very nice gentleman who helped me what the problem was. He was very receptive and said I probably only needed a "tune up". I asked about the bobbin jamming problem and he said he would check it out. Within a few days I received a call that the tune up was $150.00 and the bobbin had a "snag" and it was repaired. I picked up my machine very excited and ready to sew. I made one baby blanket and by the second WELL, the same problem I originally had was still there. I called Mr. Sweeper but did not get the "nice" gentleman on the phone this time. Instead I had the rudest man I have ever had the misfortune to converse with. I explained the problem I had at the time I brought my machine in for service was still there. He said he was not responsible for "how I treated my machine at home". I was shocked, are you kidding me. I make blankets and sell them on a website. I've had this machine for 5 years and have made over 500 blankets with it, I know how to treat my machine, I love this sewing machine. I will now be bring my Singer back to where I purchased it, even if it is 3 towns away. I would never ever recommend anyone dealing with Mr. Sweeper, they take your money but do not solve your problem. Not a way to do business. $150 is a lot of money for a small business to pay and walk away with no resolution. Do not count on this vendor for repairs!!!
