Two Women Injured in Stabbing; Police Searching For Suspect

Police need public's help in find a man who allegedly stabbed two women in Waltham.

Two women werer injured on Aug. 29 after a 40-year-old man allegedly stabbed them in an the apartment complex at 89 Adams St., according to Waltham Police.

Police are searching for Juan Francisco David, 40, in connection with the stabbing, according to a Waltham Police Press release. David, 40, is Hispanic, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and was wearing a grey hat, according to Waltham Police Twitter feed. He is possibly driving a black 2006 Honda Civic with a Massachusetts license plate "36RH5." 

Police are urging anybody with information on David to call 911 or 781-314-3600, but DO NOT approach him.

The incident started at 10:19 a.m. when police received a report of a stabbing at the complex, according to Waltham Police. Upon arriving, police found two women injured. One alleged victim sustained a serious but non-life threatening wound to her lower leg and was taken to a Boston-area hospital, according to police. The other victim suffered a forearm wound. The suspect had fled the scene before police arrived.

Police are investigating the incident.
