Paving work on Trapelo Road east of Lexington Street will begin on Oct. 1, according to the Waltham Police Facebook page.
Trapelo Road will undergo repaving work from Marguerite Avenue to the Belmont Line, according to Consolidated Director of Public Works Michael Chiasson.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
