Bust Out Your Kayak or Canoe! River Race Coming to Waltham
The race will be held at the end of the month.
The Run of the Charles Canoe & Kayak Race is coming soon!
The race, which runs through Newton, Waltham and Watertown among other local communities, starts on Sunday, April 29, with participants paddling various lengths, according to the Charles River Watershed Association's Web site. The CRWA is hosting the race.
The race also runs through Dedham, Needham, and Wellesley and is intended to highlight recent improvement on the river.

Participants will race in 6, 9, 19 and 24-mile lengths, starting at various points. For additional details on the routes and starting points, see the PDF in the photo box to the right. Registrations fees vary, so see the other attached PDF for additional information.
