$2,000 Reward for Cat Missing from Waltham/Lincoln Line

Have you seen this cat?

A Waltham woman is offering a $2,000 reward for the return of her lost, according to WCVB.com.

Kimba went missing on Aug. 13 from the area Old Country Road and Winter Street on the Waltham/Lincoln, owner Laurie Cestnick told WCVB.com. The cat is blind in its left eye, has blue eyes and is 5 years old, according to a poster for the missing cat on WCVB.com.

Kimba responds when called and may be hiding in a shead.

The cat escaped Cestnak's house late at night on Aug. 13, Cestnick told WCVB.

Anybody with information on the cat can call 617-413-2065 or email LCESTNICK@GMAIL.COM.

KIMBA SIGHTINGS: (1) Greenridge on Lincoln/Weston line off of route 117 near Dairy Joy, 3 wks ago (2) Boston Sports Club in Waltham near King Grant which goes to Greenridge (prior sighting) (3) Concord Road in Weston (between the 117 and route 20), and Sep.16 this sighting in Waltham: (4) At Bedford and South Street (off of route 20, not far from where the 117/route 20 intersect, east of 95/128) Yesterday's sighting was close up and one pupil looked larger than the other which is the case for Kimba given blindness in 1 eye. All of the colorings were said to be the same. He was hiding in their bushes and seemed lost so they looked on Craigslist, saw his pictures and compared them. A barking dog frightened him away and they could not find him again but feel they got a good look and felt was him. It's not known if all/some/none of the sightings were him with no pictures or cat for the owner to see. PLEASE TAKE A PICTURE IF YOU SEE A CAT LIKE HIM TO SHOW HIS OWNER TO NARROW THE SEARCH! The cat at the Bedford/South Street location in Waltham was said to be wearing a collar but Kimba's collar was off when he went missing. If it was him as they believe it was, the fact that a collar was on could indicate he was taken in. If you see him, please TAKE A PICTURE, try to pick him up, contain him, call his name, and call Laurie immediately at 617-413-2065. Humane traps can be set up in sight location by owner.
