Ward 2 Primary Elections - Letter from Justin Barrett

Dear Ward 2 Voter,

My name is Justin Barrett and I’m a candidate to be your Ward 2 City Councilor. I am running because as a Waltham taxpayer for 32 years, and with my vast experience, I will make a difference on the City Council. I will bring common sense leadership to the Council. My experience is not limited to just government, but also business and social services. I have been a small business owner for 30 years, and I currently serve on seven Boards, both public and private, throughout the City. As such, I have seen how the City works, and sometimes doesn't work.

I do not, nor will I, receive a state or municipal pension, and am vehemently opposed to any City Councilor receiving healthcare subsidized by the taxpayers of Waltham. I have been involved in civic organizations that help the boys and girls of this City, organizations that lend support to people that need help but may be too proud to ask, and City boards that are involved in preserving the attributes that make this City great. Based on my qualifications, I am best suited to serve you as your Ward 2 City Councilor.

If you have any questions/issues please contact me at 781-883-8350 or votejustinbarrettward2@gmail.com.

I ask for your vote on Primary Day, Tuesday, September 17th. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.

Sincerely,

M. Justin Barrett, Jr.
