Western Greenway Family Walk

Join us for a two-mile walk in the woods along the Western Greenway Trail, built and maintained by volunteers of the Waltham Land Trust. Sonja Wadman, Program Director of the WLT, will lead the group from Our Ladyʼs of the Afflicted Church to the Land Trust's organic wildlife viewing blind at Shady's Pond and back.

The route will have some up/downhill sections and at times travels over roots, but overall is great for families looking for somewhere new to check out.

Park along the eastern edge of the parking lot of Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 920 Trapelo Road.

Co-sponsored by the Appalachian Mountain Club
