Waltham section of Boston Greenbelt Walk


Take part in the first Boston Greenbelt Walk, either for all of it or just the Waltham section. The 30-mile trek on trails outside of Boston will depart at 7:30 am from the Oak Grove T Station in Malden
and travel through Melrose, Medford, Winchester, Woburn, Burlington,
Lexington and Waltham before finishing in at the Riverside T Station in
Newton
around 7:30 pm. There will be rest stops and people guiding the way the entire route.

The group expects to arrive in Waltham at the Our Lady's of the
Afflicted Church around 3:30, and WLT Program Director Sonja Wadman will
lead walkers at 4 pm down the Western Greenway Trail and on sidewalks 3 miles to the Waltham Common, then another 3 miles into Newton. WLT Board Director and trail mapping expert Dave Kehs will take folks back up the Greenway to Our Lady's for
those not interested in making the journey into Newton. Learn more and
