Waltham American Legion Band Concert
The Waltham American Legion Band will be performing a Holiday Concert at the Christ Church Episcopal at 750 Main Street in Waltham on Friday, Dec 6th at 7pm. The concert is to support the band while gathering Toys to contribute to the, "Toys for Tots" program.
The Waltham American Legion Band is a community organization and has been playing in the United States and Europe since 1948. The band performs as three entities, a Concert Band, a Marching Band and a Trolley Band. Members of the band include both veterans and civilians from Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
The band supports itself through paid performances, fund raisers and donations contributing to Veterans Events, Educational Causes and provides scholarships for young people interested in music. Donations are welcome at the door along with a Toy to be contributed to "Toys for Tots".
