"Middle Third" Western Greenway Hike

Register to participate in the second "Western Greenway Thirds" Walk, hiking the middle section of the built Western Greenway trail. Last

month, we trekked from Mass Audubon Habitat in Belmont to the MetFern

Cemetery, just west of the Beaver Brook bridge. This third Saturday of

the month, WLT Board Director and map/trail guide creator David Kehs

will lead folks on the next third of the trail through the Beaver Brook North Reservation and the Middlesex County Hospital Lands to Our Lady's Comforter of the Afflicted Church on Trapelo Road. The hike is free but registration is required. Email Diana Young at dyoung@walthamlandtrust.org to sign up and receive parking instructions. Also required are sturdy shoes, competent footwork and the ability to hike over hills, roots and stumps for 3 miles.
