An Appalachian Mountain Club event.
What does the forest look like from an insect's point of view?
All ages are welcome to join us on a Micro-Hike on the Western Greenway
Trail. This is a different take on hiking, where we will focus on the
small stuff -fungus, nests and burrows, insects, and other small
critters! We will use bug boxes, hand lenses, and our observation skills
to explore the forest from an insect's point of view.
Meet at on the eastern edge of the parking lot of Our Lady's church on
Trapelo Road. Please wear warm layers and appropriate footwear for walking in the forest.
Registration is encouraged - please email amcoutdoorsrx@outdoors.org for cancellation updates and more information.
