Please join the
Massachusetts Association for Gifted Education (MAGE) for its annual conference
and meeting of members. We are excited to present two distinguished speakers
and provide networking opportunities during a lunch catered by Panera Bread.

Learn about the Nicholas
Green Distinguished Student Award, which recognizes an exemplary student in
grades 3-6. This year, we are honored to have a special guest presenting the
award – Nicholas Green’s father, Reg Green, and we will learn more about how
this award has impacted gifted students in Massachusetts.

We are also looking forward
to a discussion with Deirdre Lovecky, Ph.D., director of the Gifted Resource Center
of New England, who will present a seminar on Gifted Children with Anxiety in
two parts:

1)  How gifted children
can show anxiety, common causes of anxiety, and how to know when to seek
professional help.

2)  Ways that parents
and teachers can help gifted children to deal with anxious times.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
