Half Marathon Training for Women Kick Off

The BAA Half Marathon will be the official half marathon

Karna Fitness Boston Metrowest trains for and races on October 13, 2013. Registration for this race open July 17th at 10am and will sell out within a few hours, so be sure to mark your calendar!  We welcome everyone training for a fall half or 10K and will adapt the program to meet your needs.

If you've been considering a half marathon, this
is the way to go.  It's a fun, supportive group of women.  Many have
completed one or more half marathons with Karna Fitness and are back for
more!  This program incorporates intervals of power walking and
jogging, a method that is proven to prevent injury and result in a
faster recovery period.  And for the first time, this fall we will be
offering a Level 1 program for beginners, and Level 2 for those who have
completed a half marathon within the last six months and are eager to
improve their performance.

Whether you have completed several half marathons or this is
your first, this program will give you the tools necessary to complete
a half marathon over a 12 week training program.Ideally, you should be able to jog:walk 3 miles and work up to 10 miles/week prior to participating in this program.
