Guided Walk at Stonehurst (Waltham)

All ages are welcome to join us for a guided walk around the Robert Treat Paine Estate and grounds surrounding this historic mansion. After a walk around the exterior of the house, there will be two options: one group will go for a hike on the Western Greenway Trail through the Storer Conservation land, and a second group will take a shorter, kid-friendly walk through the forest, where we will get to know some of the common plants and play some fun games along the way! Please wear appropriate footwear for walking in the woods. Event will be cancelled for hard or sustained rain. For more information or cancellation updates, call 617-391-6598. Stonehurst is located at off of Beaver Street in Waltham, near the rotary. Parking is available at the top of the hill. We'll meet outside the mansion at 1:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Appalachian Mountain Club, Stonehurst, the Waltham Land Trust, and Healthy Waltham
