Girl Scout Camp Cedar Hill Open House
Going to Girl Scout camp is a chance to explore nature, have fun, try new
things and make great friends. Camp Cedar Hill has 75
acres that includes numerous trails, a pond for canoeing, large sports fields, archery,
a challenge course and two swimming pools.
Some of the many programs offered this summer at camp will include:
Science in Action, Discover your
inner scientist while making some slippery, slimy, gooey experiments; Sports in Nature, Try different sports
that use a net and other games like volleyball with balls filled half with air
and half with water; Nails Galore,
Build your own wooden creation with hammer and nails, and then learn how to
make your own polish and paint your fingernails.
Interested
in exploring your options at summer camp? Attend an open house at Camp Cedar
Hill on Sunday, May 4 from 1 – 4
pm. Girls and their families are welcome to tour camp and learn about the fun
programs that will be offered there this summer. All girls are invited to
