Family Hike to Shady's Pond

Join us for a hike on Waltham's Western Greenway Trail! This section of trail winds through a variety of habitats and is home to deer, fox, turkey, and lots of other animals. We'll follow the trail, which has some mild hills, to Shady's Pond, where we can use the organic bird blind to watch and listen for wildlife. This program is great for families and kids ages 7 and up.

Meet on the eastern edge of the parking lot (to the left of the church) at Our Lady's church on Trapelo Road. Please dress in warm layers and wear sturdy shoes for walking in the woods.

Note that programs Dec-March are subject to change or cancel due to winter weather and trail conditions. For updates, please check back at this listing on OutdoorsRx.org.

Registration is strongly encouraged. To register, send an email to AmcOutdoorsRx@outdoors.org with number of participants and ages of children.
