League of Women Voters - New Teacher Evaluation System

An opportunity to learn about growth, change, and development in the Waltham School System.

Our free open meeting with Ann O'Halloran, President of Citizens for Public Schools, will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Waltham Public Library Lecture Hall basement of 735 Main St Waltham, MA. Parking is limited.

Ann will speak about the new teacher evaluation system.   Ann is a Waltham resident, a retired history teacher from Newton High School and the recipient of the Massachusetts History Teacher of the Year award (2007).

Any interested person is encouraged to attend. Our city is about to embark on a very sophisticated teacher evaluation program and we all need to know how it rewards excellent teachers and keeps Waltham always improving instruction. Our children want and need the best education, it's up to us, the taxpayers to make sure that we have and keep the best.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
