Club Shake It 2014 - just one night to end family homelessness

Family homeless is now a problem of epidemic proportions in Massachusetts, with close to 4,500 families, including more than 7,000 children, now living in state-funded shelters and motels. 250 of these families are living in motels in Lexington, Bedford, and Waltham. Club Shake It 2014 will support COMPASS for kids' expansion of the COMPASS for homeless families program to serve these local homeless families.

Club Shake It is an adult club, with live and silent auctions, food and drink, and other fun. Shake It is an annual go-to event for Greater Bostonians who launch summer by dancing under a tent – symbolizing temporary shelter - part of the homeless family experience.

This year Club Shake It goes back to the 80s and features live music from local favorite Scattershot.
